Nitro District
★★★★★ 4.5
Nitro District is unapologetic arcade racing. Forget tire temperatures and realistic physics; this is about throwing your car sideways through a neon corner and nailing a perfect drift chain. The sense of speed is excellent, and the handling clicks after a race or two.
You tilt or tap to steer, and both control schemes actually work, which is rarer than it should be. The track design leans on shortcuts and risky lines, so there's real room to shave seconds once you learn a circuit.
Progression unlocks cars at a fair pace and never nagged us to grind. It's the game we kept reopening between other reviews, which is the highest compliment we hand out.
