Coin Strike
Coin Strike is one of those games that looks simple for about thirty seconds and then quietly eats an afternoon. You drag back a striker, aim at a cluster of stacked coins, and let go. The coins scatter across the board with a satisfying clatter, and your job is to clear the target pattern before you run out of shots. The physics feel tight and consistent, which matters a lot when you're trying to line up a bank shot off the wall.
Control is entirely one thumb, which is exactly what you want for a pick-up-and-play arcade title. Later stages add moving pieces and awkward angles, so you start thinking about ricochets and chain reactions instead of just blasting straight ahead. The difficulty curve is gentle at first, then it gets genuinely tricky without ever feeling unfair.
What we liked most was how readable everything is. You always understand why a shot failed, which makes you want to immediately try again rather than put the phone down in frustration. It's a clean, honest arcade loop, and the short levels make it perfect for a quick break.
